Is the game that I am talking about. I was sifting through random Goodwill items yesterday, since everything was 50% off, and I came across this board game for $4 (so essentially I got it for $2!). I glanced at the back cover to get a feel for what the game is about, and it seemed interesting, so I thought I'd buy it, since my family loves bizarre/crazy board games. I glanced inside to make sure it wasn't missing a ton of pieces, and it looked like everything was there; even the cards were all sealed! However, upon further inspection, I found out I was missing the rules.
I get the gist of the game from online reviews, but I think I need the entire set of rules to fully understand the game. I was hoping someone who owns the game would be willing to scan an image of the rules/type out the rules for me to print out and use, so I can play this game with my friends and family! I am also missing the character pieces, but that isn't as important to me as the rules.
But if anyone could also scan the images of the character pieces (if you can. I'm not sure if it infringes on copyright or whatever. I'm not exactly knowledgeable on those kinds of subjects), I'd appreciate that too! Sorry, I don't have a scanner so here is my verbal explaination.
The character pieces are completely random and don't matter. Grab any thing for their use. I like Lego dudes, since they are easily recognizable as your own. The rules are pretty basic, roll and move, then read out loud the top card of the color you land on. HOWEVER, if you don't complete the card you draw, then you must move backwards the number in the top corner of the card.
The only card that is strange are the green cards, which are trivia questions that must be read by the person next to them, ala trivial pursuit. Quelf is a fun party game. A quick Google search yielded which covers everything important. Other important details I can recall off the top of my head (I'm at work):. You draw the card unless its Green. You read every card aloud unless it says it is confidential.
The 'penalty' spoken of is the number in the top right corner of the card. You pay the penalty by moving back that many spaces.
Blue cards are permanent rule changers. Global/world rules apply to all players. Each player may only have one of each type of rule (acting/speaking). You just discard your old one if you get a new one of the same type.
Players are responsible for catching other players breaking a rule. You must pay the penalty every time you are caught breaking a rule. You may discard a rule at any time by taking the penalty of moving back to the start space. If its green, the player to your left reads you the question and you answer it.
If you're wrong you pay the penalty. Whether you got it right or wrong, they read the extra credit question. You do not take a penalty for getting the extra credit wrong although you move forward 1 space for getting it right. Many of the cards have alternate text on the bottom of the card. You do not read this part of the card aloud. It will often affect specific players or players that try viewing the card after it has been discarded.

For this reason, discard cards face down. Many of the alternate texts affect specific players (e.g., Queen Spatula).
You could make proxy tokens with these names or just ignore these effects.
