Windows OS Hub / Active Directory / Using GPResult to Diagnose Group Policies. The user “domain user” does not have RSOP data.
I've built a new AC domain consisting of two DCs running Windows server 2012R2, both Hyper-V virtuals (hosted on WS2012R2). I've successfully added two computers to the new domain. All seems to be OK except for this: When I open the 'Active Directory Users and Computers' console and right click on a computer there - 'All tasks' - 'Resultant Set of Policy (Planning).' Nothing happens. Nothing at all. No new window, no error, no anything:/ Interestingly, when I do the same for an user, it works - it opens the wizzard window.

- I can ping and RDP into any device on the 10. Range so routing is working as expected but I'm not clear on why I can't get group policy to apply.
On the client machine, when I try: gpresult /scope /computer /v in the cmd, I get this: ERROR: Access Denied. When I try it as an administrator (via 'runas'), I get this: INFO: The user does not have RSoP data. Where might be the problem? I consider this a very essential debugging tool and I do not want to make the switch to the new AC domain until I get this issue resolved.
PS: In the old (still active) AC domain with WS2008R2 when I do the same for a computer, a new window labeled 'Resultant Set of Policy Wizard' is properly opened and functional. Thank you very much! The issue is that the backups will run for several days successfully and then will stop running. After the backups begin to fail, I see the following when I open Windows Server Backup tool. If I sign out and then sign on, the issue is immediately resolved and I can see the backup history in the Windows Server Backup tool. The backup will run again for several days until the issue occurs again. The cycle of the issue on the three machines is very similar. In other words, the backup will run successfully on all three machines for 2 days and then fail on all three machines and continue to fail until I sign in, sign out and then sign in on each machine.

Note: After verifying that the server backup is running with a sign in, sign out & sign in. I typically sign out again. Notes. The corresponding shim code is SHIMNOVERSIONFOUND.' I used information found here: to determine which.NET frameworks were installed on the target device.
