HCS Forum - The Official Streamed VGM Distribution Thread by at 6:40 AM EDT on May 4, 2017 I don't think SMS had any other streamed tracks, so that first page link may have been just as barren (as this is the streamed music thread). It might have had the sequences and samples, but I don't think we have a way to play sequences properly, happy to be corrected on that score, though. Edit: yeah, read, someone complains there's only one file. Edited 6:44 AM EDT May 4, 2017 by at 7:02 AM EDT on May 4, 2017 Well, okay then! I will look for another source with a really good possible rip. By at 1:51 PM EDT on May 4, 2017 Then look for a GAMERIP not a STREAMRIP. Lots of ninty games in the GameCube era had sequences of the same format instead of having it all prerecorded and streamed (few exceptions like MKDD).:) by at 6:51 PM EDT on May 4, 2017 I've found a nice gamerip on ffshrine ^^ Nier automata by at 4:35 AM EDT on May 6, 2017 Hello, does anyone know if Nier automata's OST can be extracted and played with VGMstream?

By at 1:18 AM EDT on May 29, 2017 Has the Owl Boy music been ripped from the PC version yet? I did a search on these forums and got no results so I'm assuming no (possibly because there is an OST available for purchase?):/ edited 1:19 AM EDT May 29, 2017 by at 9:27 AM EDT on May 29, 2017 @Franpa:? By at 7:40 AM EDT on May 30, 2017 Oh, My searches must have included a space. Edited 7:41 AM EDT May 30, 2017 by at 7:49 AM EDT on May 30, 2017 Wait, I can't play those files. They just don't work. I already have access to those files in my own Owlboy installation folder.

The WMA files work but their not all of the music. Was support for the XWB format added in a newer version of VGMStream (pretty sure I have the latest and it hasn't been significantly updated in a fair while)? Edited 7:54 AM EDT May 30, 2017 by at 1:03 AM EDT on May 31, 2017 Not sure if anyone is interested in this. A little test rip I did today with the random map file I found lurking in one of my old drives.

I might finish ripping the whole thing if I have time. By at 2:06 AM EDT on May 31, 2017 Please go ahead, I'm pretty much interested in complete gamerip of Halo 3 or even 4 if it's not too much to ask. This is definitely not anything urgent but it'd be welcome if it ever surfaces somewhere.

By at 5:56 AM EDT on May 31, 2017 datschge, after looking at it a second time I now notice that it is different, I assume this is a rip from something other than the PC version of OwlBoy. The PC version seems to bundle the majority of music in to big XWB archives where as this archive you linked to seems to separate the songs in to individual XWB files.

Bōken Jidai Katsugeki Goemon

Regardless, I can't play back the XWB files in the archive you linked to and I can't find a tool that can properly extract the music tracks from the PC version's XWB files either. Edited 5:56 AM EDT May 31, 2017 by at 9:10 AM EDT on May 31, 2017 @franpa: upgrade to the latest version of VGMStream. The rip is from the PC version (more specifically, GOG one). By at 2:45 PM EDT on May 31, 2017 @Franpa: you should believe to original ripper of this title and the tool he used is definitely, I'm sure you can make playable single-track XWBs out of given audio banks all by yourself if you put that utility by Bnnm to good use. HUGE edit: Hi all! I compiled some sort of for my favorite VG OSTs. This pack contains multiple versions of the same tracks whenever possible so if you're unsatisfied with audio quality on one platform you can try out another one (for one game there're a few tracks from PC version and their counterparts from two (!) different consoles so there's wide choice for any future listener).

Anyway here's a list of what's inside: 1) Original Infernal & its port to X360 titled Hell's vengeance: XMAs from the latter should be called transmogrified now so making another streamed rip for this title is more than welcome. It's very likely that initial XMA2 files are playable and no one needs to rebuild them to XMA1 nowadays.

This console port doesn't have any exclusive compositions in it when compared to original release but maybe sound quality is just as good as that in PC version with its q10.0 OGGs? As for computer version there's a GUI tool for unpacking its ZAP bigfiles, one can get properly named OGGs with ease and speed these days; 2) Hot wheels series: a) Beat that! (mostly PS2 samples but also an STM file from DS): just listen to this awesomeness as it speaks for itself! X360 is the easiest one to rip and even has filenames for tracks so if someone wants to back up this great score on JoshW it'd be cool. BTW Wii gamerip would be highly appreciated too, I had plans for it back in the day but didn't find an image online (or I simply didn't search hard enough); b) (Highway 35) world race (3 different variations of encoding are waiting for you, you can try Vorbis or Playstation ADPCM or split-channel DSP): yet another favorite of mine, there're much less unique compositions in it than in 'Beat that' but they're still pretty swell!

Jidai

Be sure to check them out or even contribute entire soundtracks to our VGM collection since all ports of this title are easily rippable (GC&GBA are here already); c) Stunt track challenge (PC only as XBox or PS2 are deemed useless since all the tracks in computer version are in lossless): the files I selected are few but they still pack quite punch! There's Xbox set in VGM archives but it contains only lossy WMA variants of these tracks; d) Battle force 5 (only DS for now): Wii rerip would be most welcome. Edited 9:00 AM EDT June 1, 2017 edited 9:12 AM EDT June 1, 2017 by at 11:43 AM EDT on June 1, 2017 Ffff having to using Foobar to play the XWB files.

I prefer Winamp but it's pretty obvious that version of the plugin isn't getting updated any time soon (based on what HCS has said in the past). Anyways, hooray I can listen to the files! If the Winamp plugin is meant to be able to play them as well than maybe one of my other plugins is taking priority and failing to play them. Also some of the songs use odd sample rates, like some of the loop files are played at 44102 or 44103Hz for example and my computer doesn't like that unless I use the DirectSound driver (which is fine, just a little curious if the ripper realized this). Edited 11:59 AM EDT June 1, 2017 by at 1:33 PM EDT on June 1, 2017 @Franpa - Winamp and others are updated regularly, but in. I'll try to bring hcs' attention so maybe he could put the links in his too, since most people won't realize I guess. XMA/XWB of weird sample rates is very common, IIRC the encoder does this to adjust looping.

I'm not sure if they are supposed to be adjusted to 44100 or not when playing though. By at 10:20 AM EDT on June 3, 2017 Good day everyone, I've got yet another with just two games now. You might remember me requesting support for XAU files from Beat down: Fists of vengeance (Xbox), they're playable by VGMstream nowadays and this videogame served as the main donor of tracks for my small compilation. You know there're so many diverse compositions in this title, they remind me of so many original scores starting with numerous DMC & Fire ProWrestling installments and ending with DeathSmiles, God hand & even Lifeline! That's why there're so many subfolders in Beat down directory, all those individual files don't come from Dead head Fred, Fight club or Final fight: Streetwise, they only remind me of some specific tracks from the latter projects. Would you agree to my associations or not?

Download free air chicago towel folder manual Chicago offers state of the art integrated systems and touch screen controls to provide you only the best flatwork machines.

It's up to you to find out! There're also some of the most rememberable and remarkable compositions from DT Carnage (PS2), its soundtrack impressed from the very start when I originally ripped it like ten years ago with merely CubeMediaPlayer2 and obviously transcoded its audio. I've had a few PSP rips but never listened to Wii variants of these and many other songs.

If someone becomes enough interested to process the third version of this title I'll be really eager to check it out! All the best! By at 12:39 AM EDT on June 4, 2017 @franpa. The game I ripped called The Cave has all kinds of music with weird sample rates. 1 song will be 26118hz and another 26760hz etc.some just used weird rates mastered originally?? Edited 3:21 AM EDT June 4, 2017 by at 12:34 PM EDT on June 6, 2017 Awesome stuff bnnm. Yeah I figured that was the case Marcus.

By at 11:21 PM EDT on June 21, 2017 Hopefully I'm the first with this, but here is the I did some conversion to make them looping.XVAG files (same format used in PS3 sly collection), but the conversion preserved the quality as it was the same encoding (mostly just added the header and loop data). More detailed notes in the readme. Working on the Sly 3 soundtrack slowly. By at 10:06 AM EDT on July 19, 2017 Hello, May I ask if someone happens to have ripped the music from Bouken Jidai Katsugeki Goemon on the PS2? It seems to be sequenced and I couldn't extract anything apart from slowed-down voice tracks. Thank you very much! By at 11:51 AM EDT on July 19, 2017 @Ninfiali: I was actually trying to find that game back when I was ripping a couple of KCE Tokyo drivers.

I know it's technically a KCE Kobe game, so this is probably a long shot, but if you search the full disc for 'KDT1' (case-sensitive, no quotes), using a hex editor or another tool of choice, do you see any occurrences? By at 8:20 PM EDT on July 19, 2017 Whoa, crazy coincidence that the PS2 Goemon was brought up.

I actually attempted to rip that game myself a few months back, but sadly I didn't get very far. However, I did upload the game's data so I could inquire about it here or elsewhere, but I guess it just slipped my mind until now due to other stuff, heh. Well, guess there's no better time than now to post this: (Bouken Jidai Katsugeki: Goemon PS2 data) ^I should mention that file's over 1GB, BTW. Anyway, hopefully someone who downloads that will figure out how to rip the music, and if so, you have my heartfelt thanks in advance! By at 9:45 AM EDT on July 20, 2017 Are there no other files on the disc? First step here would probably be to dissect the filesystem. It may require the game executable and potential other files.

All files in the virtual filesystem have a.rom extension, so it's hard to say what the BGM files contain (or where they are located for that matter). I'm seeing two different tables in PROJECT.BIN; one starting at 0x30 which represents the file index from 0x1CF00 to 0x357B8, and one starting at 0x16BC0 which represents the index from 0x357B8 to 0x37DB0.

But the meta tables aren't making any sense to me. It's possible these tables are updated after boot, similar to Silent Hill 2 (another KCE game).

This filesystem also seems to use code 0x50 (some sort of identifier) to represent chunks of files in the VFS, so maybe it is indeed similar to the, but I could be wrong. Edited 9:51 AM EDT July 20, 2017 by at 5:11 AM EDT on July 21, 2017 @Nisto: is the rest of the data I was able to scrounge up from Goemon PS2. Hope that helps!

Just because. By at 12:39 AM EDT on July 23, 2017 I happen to have this lying around. Nothing special. By at 2:16 PM EDT on August 7, 2017 Has Final Fantasy XV been ripped at all? By at 3:11 PM EDT on August 9, 2017 If PS4 was rippable, that would have been the first on my list to do.

By at 4:17 PM EDT on August 9, 2017 Some sharin' edited 4:47 PM EDT August 9, 2017 by at 6:17 PM EDT on August 9, 2017 Thanks bxaimc by at 11:10 PM EDT on August 18, 2017 PC: I know Redout has been uploaded but the version archived is actually the Enhanced Edition that uses vorbis FSB while the original uses PCM. Rename the 7z to 'Redout Enhanced Edition (2016-12-21)(34BigThings)'. Edited 11:12 PM EDT August 18, 2017 by at 9:07 PM EDT on September 10, 2017 I was looking at some of the rips I've been downloading, and it looks like and have been transmorgrified to XMA (both contain tools used for creating XMAs). Download The Beast 1975 Sirpa Lane.

I don't know if it's worth fixing/re-ripping, but I figured I'd point it out, in case anyone is bored, or looking for something to rip. Also, the Mass Effect games (on the X360) look like they might need a 'touch-up' as well. Is this a request?

Not really, but just more of a mention. There's multiple rips for some of these (not Mass Effect), so it's probably not important. Anyway, thanks for looking.

Edited 10:09 PM EDT September 10, 2017 by at 11:22 PM EDT on October 2, 2017 Would we be able to get Cave Story+ for the Switch re-ripped? There was new music added recently in an update exclusive to that port by at 5:16 PM EDT on October 31, 2017 Hype for Last Recode!

Edited 12:08 AM EDT November 1, 2017 by at 12:28 PM EST on December 12, 2017 Since requests are allowed, can somebody please post a rip of The Great Escape (PS2/PC/Xbox)? Thanks in advance.

By at 1:21 AM EST on December 15, 2017 I'll post infos about what the files from this game later (interleave, etc) Stuntman Ignition custom suites by at 6:44 AM EST on December 15, 2017 Hello guys, I just figured out it'd not hurt to post that PS2 rip of mine here for anyone interested to grab it. I divided initial SFXMUSIC.MBK into 2 thematic 'tracks' (pretty long ones so one can call them suites) and upped it. The 1st file lasts roughly 1 hour 3 minutes and contains all the licensed songs (including two instrumentals); the 2nd one lasts more than 82 mins and has mostly score pieces in it (diverse original music + some country tracks in the end). BTW I upped both instrumentals from suite #1 separately so that folks might download those instead of getting entire SFXMUSIC1.7z (you need to look for SS2 files in my folder). Edited 6:48 AM EST December 15, 2017 by at 3:48 AM EST on December 16, 2017 @ Ultrafighter: Thaks for your rips. I downloaded them so will give them a listen over the weekend.

I have a couple games I will try to rip as well. Cheers Mark by at 6:01 AM EST on December 16, 2017 I re-ripped the PS2 version of Crash Nitro Kart, and included all the music from the assets.gob resource file, as well as an intro FMV that has an extended mix of the Main Menu music (you can open the.sfd with Audacity to load the FMV's audio tracks). I included a readme with notes on the in-game context of the music; I'll also paste that here after the link. 0000060e.vag - Main Menu (left channel) 0000060d.vag - Main Menu (right channel) 0000043e.vag - Aku Aku Invincibility Mask 00000614.vag - Uka Uka Invincibility Mask 00000618.vag - Velo Invincibility Mask 00000605.vag - Podium (left channel) 00000604.vag - Podium (right channel) SCOENG.SFD - Main Menu (higher quality, extended remix) in the Final Lap version of Electron Avenue (TEKNEE3F), the last 8 bars only play in-game every second loop (i.e. You need to listen to the track twice to hear it) by at 9:25 AM EST on December 17, 2017 @Marcusss: has just been added to VGM archives so be my guest and try it out as well as upcoming 'Indiana Jones and the emperor's tomb' PS2 set (my 1st one with TXTH!). The latter easily makes it to my own TOP-5 best ambient / orchestral scores of all time and I still absolutely love the game too. This title was scored by composer of Outlaws & Uncharted: Golden abyss (I only listened to both OST + rip from the latter because I like 'emperor's tomb' soundtrack so much; I can't say Outlaws impressed me much though, I guess I'm simply not a fan of Wild West-themed VGM).

BTW I've just remembered that there's actually some BGM in Stuntman Ignition vids, they're mostly trailers from movies which are being shot in this VG so there's definitely some music to be heard in those videos. I'll try to demux and post them here, maybe it'll even happen this evening so keep an eye out for this thread. Also here're by Ian Livingstone: unfortunately these 2 + 3 different meh tracks are entire Stolen score. Bionicle heroes is another nice medium-sized soundtrack which would benefit from ripping remaining (I'd be especially interested in Wii port or even DS version) or reripping some platforms (PS2 one was transmogrified by Alpha23 from MIB+MIH to SS2 so there's all more reason to redo that specific platform).
